Folks keep saying they "red states need to suffer to learn from the mistake of voting for Trump" and I keep saying "that will not work" and I have written threads about it including this one:
A major problem is that people in "red states" are often already suffering—and being told by the leaders that the reasons they are suffering are because of [insert unpopular scapegoat here].

I think one of the interesting things about being trans is that it doesn’t actually matter How you identify, you’re inherently outside of the typical gender binary by virtue of simply transing your gender any one way or another.

i get cishets charging dems $300/hr to advise mulching us, but it's truly monstrous for "lgbt" orgs to advise mulching us. there are MORE than enough cishets covering the mulching angle, i swear! if lgbt orgs don't present the case for not mulching us, why have them? who's left to say "don't mulch"?
if a PAC is explicitly telling you it's dedicated to cis people but not trans people, calling it an "LGBTQ+" PAC is pinkwashing. just call them cis rights activists or whatever because what the fuck is "TQ+" about that lol

Keep remembering all the things that the Supreme Court found legal that were later determined to be morally-and often legally- wrong. Start with Plessy vs. Ferguson and legal segregation. The law is not the arbiter of rightness, it often hoards power. Protect trans people at all costs.

I'm sorry I keep reblogging 😞. I had to pay my thoracic surgeon for being on standby & I haven't been able to make any commission sales; inprnt won't pay me until a month later, throwing my hat in and depending on donations because I've had no income for the last two months whilst at the hospital.
Please help me rebuild my life after a major operation ): (total thyroidectomy). Everything I received from my gofundme has been exhausted by my surgeon fees, and now I still have to take calcium supplements, gauzes, cleaning supplies and thyroid hormone replacement

Genuinely I wish i could do a survey on people who insist on bringing their nonservice dogs into stores, esp grocery stores, and ask them why they do that. Like I believe they do it because they like the attention of people fawning over their dog. But I wanna know why they believe they do that.
