New analysis from my HHS colleagues and me shows generic competition continues to drive down drug costs. Prices drop ~20% with 3 competitors and up to 70-80% in markets with 10+. Read more:

Medicare Part D out-of-pocket costs are now capped at $2000 annually, thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act. HHS estimates the new cap will save 11 million beneficiaries an average of $600 on prescription drugs this year. aspe.hhs.gov/sites/defaul...
