Another 2024 Grant Recipient Project Complete!

KOYLIM has completed the 324 Battery, 94th Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment Memorial Project, conserving the memorial plaque.

Our grant also initiated ongoing research into the lives of those commemorated.

AMOT Grant Update: Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum
Young visitors can now explore the museum hands-on by picking a hat and uncovering its story – all with help from AMOT’s 2024 grant!

From September, older kids will create vlogs, interviews & more as part of Remembrances of War by Paul Joyce.

AMOT is proud to support the Royal Scots Museum’s GRETNA110 project, marking 110 years since the Quintinshill rail disaster. A moving exhibition, film, and commemorations honoured the 216 Royal Scots lost.

Thanks to a 2024 AMOT Project Grant, Portland Basin Museum and Tameside College students created two fantastic short films about the Manchester Regiment.

AMOT Grant Update: King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry Museum

Big strides on the 324 Battery, 94th Light Anti-Aircraft Regt Memorial! Conservator Graham has reassembled the board & will return soon to clean + mount it.

Meanwhile, volunteers have even traced living relatives.

Did you know? On 13th March 1875, the Corps of Royal Engineers became the only military team to win the FA Cup! After finishing as runners-up in 1872, they came back stronger, defeating Old Etonians 2-0 in the final at The Oval—proving their skill, teamwork, and determination!

AMOT Grant Update: Royal Scots' Regimental Museum, Gretna 110

The Royal Scots' Museum is grateful for the AMOT grant supporting its outreach on the 1915 Quintinshill Rail Disaster. The Gretna 110 exhibition will commemorate the 110th anniversary, featuring stories of the survivors.
