He/Him #Thumperfam #Checkers #JessticeLeague I like talking about comic books. And the Arsenal in my handle is the comic character, NOT THE SOCCER TEAM.
Hey, this book is pretty good!

This movie was pretty good, and I imagine it won’t be long before Mr. Beast makes people compete in one of these.

Now my familiarity with Archie characters is pretty basic, but whomever Dilton is? That dude is 0-2 in surviving these horror books.

First book of this journey surprised me in that it never finished! #9 ends on a cliffhanger and issue #10 is a standalone story that I’m guessing would have played a part in the non-existing finale!

Starting on what should be my last big reading project of the year!

So I recently subscribed to @globalcomix.com and read the four omnis of @mattwagnercomics.bsky.social’s Grendel. I enjoyed those and after finishing, decided the natural progression would be to read Matt Wagner’s Mage next. Finished that today and it was GREAT!

Just finished watching this and although there were some good action sequences, it was kind of a whiff for me. As far as Amazon Prime action movies about the President featuring a cast member of The Boys, G20 was better.

I have finished my deep dive into the filmography of Cynthia Rothrock! Only two movies I couldn’t find, but those can wait for another day should they become available.

PS. Special thanks to the folks at @rifftrax.com for the availability of some of these.

Finished up Lemire & Nguyen’s Descender and Ascender series today. GREAT book. Kinda like Star Wars if they REALLY dealt with the treatment of droids by humanoids.

Also, Driller is the best.

I’d heard good things about Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees and after reading it today, all of them are true. It’s Dexter meets Richard Scarry. Absolute blast!

I’m watching the 2011 Three Musketeers this morning and shocked at how bonkers stacked the cast is.

In Oct 2023 I managed to watch 101 horror movies in 31 days. 2024 I failed to beat that record. This year, I not only beat the record, I MURDERED it! One hundred and fifty horror movies!
November 1, 2025 at 4:16 AM
I have stared into the abyss, and it stared back. Today I watched *FOUR* Mickey Mouse/Steamboat Willie themed horror movies.

Watched this today and enjoyed it! Horror movies might be the perfect fit for Jai Courtney!

Now watching: A *LORD* of Illusions? In *THIS* economy?

Black Hammer books are AWESOME. Finished them up today and already putting the World of Black Hammer titles on my library holds immediately!

Holy shit this movie is amazingly brutal.

I have finished all 34 movies under the Universal Monsters banner. Thank you, @archive.org , for making the majority of these available where other sites did not!

Marvel’s post-9/11 Call of Duty miniseries and follow-up The Call might just be the absolute worst books they ever put out.

The plot is difficult to follow, the art made characters tough to distinguish from one another, and if this was intended to honor first responders, boy did they whiff that.

Weirdest thing about the DC KO bracket is that the winner also gets to choose the next series for @blankcheck.bsky.social

(*Crosses fingers for Damian Wayne's Robert Altman series!!!*)

- Spawn Compendium Vol. 7
- Power Fantasy Vol. 2
- Witchblade (2024) Vol. 1 & 2

This is three summers worth of murders! And I didn't notice that they tried to make this series a Fourth of July thing.

(Also, the Amazon Prime series would 100% be in the second place spot.)
