I dunno. I’m 24 and I find myself saying “who??” A lot.

When I got it, it took the little hearing I still had left, and I’m still angry about that. It wasn’t explained clearly to me, and I didn’t fully understand what I’d lose. That’s a big part of why I feel the way I do.

People are so loud and unaware, and I can’t work in noisy settings without getting dizzy. The headaches and long drives for yearly checkups don’t help either. I like certain sounds, sure, but overall it’s been more harm than help.

I get that CIs help some people, but for me they’ve done more harm than good. When I turn it on, all the sounds flood in at once — no way to filter or mute background noise, even when I’m just trying to listen to music.

Change the blue back, dude. The new one hurts my eyes😞
