Chance's Lucky Escape by @juliaminamata.bsky.social and @golosogames.bsky.social was very fun to play. It keeps its puzzles tight, its graphics stunning, the story flowing, and the music vibing - i love the jazzy vibes it has.

Its also a great way to test if everything in your Playdate is working 😅

there is a construction site right across our living room and every night i look out, the lights on the crane(?) makes it seem like there is an ufo hanging above there. So I thought that might be an interesting concept for environment art/lighting study.

Everytime i play a game i have a habit of taking one of the characters personality (or ambitions) and now that I’m playin The Alters i kinda wanna study Astronomy (Astrobotany to be more precise) cause it seems so interesting!!!!

I was trying to optimize my shaders and lights but i dont think i actually understand the shader complexity viemode. Most of my materials are from the same master material (with a lot of parameters) but there is one object that shows up white in shader complexity. 🥲

finally got the electricity vfx to be exactly as i wanted it, im so happy with the visuals!! ✨⚡️🍋

All the mechanics for the minigame are also done, my little Gameboy project is really close to being finalized!!! 👾

Deathloop is free on Epic Games right now.
It is one of my favorite games worldbuilding wise and aesthetically. As a big fan of retro futurism I appreciated every detail especially the environmental props and the lore.
So yeah I'd recommend it!
