Interestingly I've noticed when the Ecumenical Patriarch attends a liturgy at the Vatican it has been the practice to recite/chant the creed in Greek, which of course does not have the filioque!

That's probably not the most pressing theological issue at this point (there was an early 2000s joint Catholic-Orthodox commission that studied the question concluding that primacy/authority is probably the biggest obstacle).

I remember being in second grade in Rhode Island and not understanding why my phonics book was telling me that dog and frog rhymed. because they clearly don't.
