This article was one of the most interesting things I've read in a long time.

I'm a college prof and it also provides insight into the resistance we see with students to complete and comprehend assigned reading. For some, I imagine the pages look like 80% gibberish to them. Very sad.

I think ASC has responsibility here as well. The conference feels like an impersonal, cattle call of endless presentations. For many people presenting at ASC is nothing more than a box to check off for an annual performance review. ASC leadership can work to shift this culture as well as presenters.
