The premise of #FinalFantsyLegend3 is that an entity from "Pureland" (another dimension, I think?) is flooding the world and we've got to use time travel to stop it before it's too late. After naming our party, we're dropped right into battle, then a long cutscene. #SaGa #jrpg #retrogames

As usual, we start off with the manual. It describes a more standardized levelling system than the first two; Instead of making your own characters, you have a fixed party of humans or mutants, who transform to beasts or robots by using meat or parts. #FinalFantasyLegend3 #SaGa #jrpg #retrogames

I'd like to do more #NSFWgaming coverage in the future, but I don't think I'll make it my sole focus, as there's a lot of retro and indie gaming out there, and a lot of it deserves signal boosting. Let me know what you think!

I'd like to see a sequel or follow-up game from the same dev, but that might not be in the cards. Their Patreon seems to have gone silent, and no word of a next game on their website. Too bad. They had obvious skill, and would doubtless have improved their storytelling with experience.

All in all, Aurelia was both fun and sexy, but it started to become tedious after a while, to the point that I was rapid-clicking through sex scenes near the end. It's still worth picking up if you're keen on sexing up fantasy chicks, but maybe wait for a sale.

(Though some of the aforementioned games are obviously designed for a touch-based mobile interface. Archery and bartender are particularly rough with a mouse.)

This isn't a gamebreaking problem, but it leads to the game becoming repetitive. Which is a pity, since everything else is above average. The art is excellent, and skillfully animated as well. And the minigames are actually fun, at least in small doses.

Since none of the waifu stand out, the scenes start to all feel the same. The generally vanilla, kink-light themes add to this problem. There are only three major holes in a girl, after all.

The waifu are a varied bunch, covering a range of different fantasy races, and with their own backstories, but most of them feel pretty much the same to interact with. None of them truly stand out on the basis of personality.

Aurelia is unapologetically a pic hunter game- there is a main plot, as well multiple waifu-related subplots and minigames- but none of it is given more than lip service. The emphasis is always on unlocking new sex scenes and achievements.
