Not yet no, it’s technically a small release so it’s only had screenings in certain places and none have been around me! 😔

I’ll definitely get it when it comes out physically/digitally, I’d prefer a physical copy.

It definitely triggered the anxiety I used to feel when I was in the closet, there was a hesitancy that was palpable in that moment.

He’s probably very private and knows that if he just said “I’m bi/pan” it would cause a firestorm of attention and questions.

He always strikes me as someone who is incredibly private and probably doesn’t want to label anything, which I have to respect as someone who uses Queer more than anything else because it’s more nebulous.

I feel like the poster was designed to appeal to someone who isn’t your typical fan, to get their attention and then hopefully get them hooked on something that’s definitely Trek. There’s definitely going to be young adult moments in the show, but I don’t think it’s going to be what people think.

I feel like this is an ongoing issue with a lot of “NuTrek” haters, they regularly misinterpret everything to fit a narrative that they want to exist.

I think it’s some of my issues with SNW, Discovery just had some really cool ideas and handled legacy characters better… but they had to move aside for SNW.

The fact that the guy who wrote it had written one episode of Discovery S1 and it wasn’t even an episode that featured the character… 🙃

Not to mention they got a white guy to cannibalise the work of two Asian women.

Yeah, I feel that way whenever I see some Picard S1 concept art because there was clearly a different plan for that season.
