The governing party of the United States is shutting down the federal government to cover-up evidence the president sexually abused children so he can continue trying to implement dictatorship.

That's just a true statement about the world!

Any politician who has never flown on the world’s most famous pedophile’s jet should call for a bipartisan committee to investigate — and then release — the Epstein files.

What a way to reach across the aisle.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz after touring "Alligator Alcatraz": "These detainees are living in cages. The pictures you've seen don't do it just. They are essentially packed into cages. 34 detainees per cage...they get their drinking water & they brush their teeth where they poop, in the same unit"

When a government starts targeting former intelligence officials, law enforcement leaders, and anyone who once investigated or criticized those in power, it’s not just a red flag, it’s a page straight from the authoritarian playbook.

There is nothing okay about seeing abandoned lawnmowers and food carts.

The people gone.

Disappeared by our government.

You wouldn’t vacation in Dachau in 1935. Don’t vacation in Florida in 2025.
We’re calling for a Florida boycott over the inhumane “Alligator Alcatraz” detention site. Cancel your family vacation and choose a different destination this summer.

America's healthcare system is far from perfect, but Medicaid, Medicare and the ACA have made undeniable progress in improving it. Now, the "One Big Beautiful Bill" is set to devastate that progress. @rbreich.bsky.social joins me at 12p ET on how this steep reversal will directly affect you. #Velshi

I have to say I do not love the idea of throwing $40 billion at an agency that's clearly making it up as it goes along and staffed entirely by law enforcement flotsam that couldn't get hired as prison guards. I bet a lot of people wouldn't, but I understand there's a new mayoral nominee to denounce.
“The Department of Homeland Security has formally instituted a new requirement that members of Congress and their staff provide a week of notice before they visit immigration detention facilities, a policy that is at odds with a federal law that allows lawmakers to make unannounced oversight trips.“
