Last week at the ESC Prison Working Group in Timișoara, I presented with @mariacleary.bsky.social of @maynoothlaw.bsky.social and @aurore-vdk.bsky.social of LINC in panel on 'Specific populations, identities, and experiences.'

My paper considered women's imprisonment, expansion logic, and trauma.

My presentation discussed the needs & experiences of foreign national women in prison in Ireland.

Ray Taylor reviewed the book "Body Searches and Imprisonment", edited by @eurocriminology.bsky.social, in the newest Prison Service Journal. I'm delighted that this statement on vulnerability seemed to be the main take-away from my chapter in the book 🙌🏼
