it's cool to start to see llm-friendly markdown versions of docs. it would be helpful to have an html link tag to point to the definitive md docs.

Oracle justified its JavaScript trademark with Node.js—now it wants that ignored
Oracle filed a motion to dismiss in response to Deno’s petition to cancel its “JavaScript” trademark. But instead of addressing the real issue—that JavaScript is an open standard with multiple indepen...

Deep research's inability to distinguish authoritative information from rumors seems like a pretty big gap. I'm sure it's something that will continue to improve but in the meantime, how can you use it without needing to re-do the work to verify?

The fact that AQI doesn’t measure the toxic byproducts of houses/cars/etc. burning seems like a pretty big flaw in the system

Is the air quality index actually useful right now?
The air has improved in the LA region as firefighters get blazes under control, but there are questions about how safe the air actually is.

I really love that in Suno AI people are leaving product feedback in the form of AI generated songs. I think more apps need this feature.

I thought this was an interesting post on Python / UV. I liked using UV but I still haven't found something that lets me use iPython (imho the best REPL) without global the global package manager.

Uv has a killer feature you should know about
In my view, neither performance nor trying to be Python-aligned is what sets uv apart. Don’t get me wrong — try switching from uv to Poetry, and you’ll quickly notice how sluggish it (poetry) feels. u...

I haven’t found a streaming service that does a good job with rewatching shows. E.g. skipped episodes, episodes starting at the end, forgetting where I left off, etc.
