Say what you will about North American schools and how they didn't teach you this and that, but I'll always be grateful that my school board taught me the basics about how capitalism and advertising both work. In CATHOLIC school of all places.
I'm sometimes confused whenever people act like spending money isn't just us voting with our dollars because I remember learning about this shit in middle school. Did nobody else learn the same thing??

It also fucking sucks that so many people on the Left(s) refuse to understand anti-fatness as a system of oppression, and fat liberation as a legitimate anti-oppression movement.

Decided I'm probably not going to Furnal Equinox next year; it's a lot of money for a convention where I know many of my established friends aren't going to be there, so I'm most likely going to pass on it. I'd rather focus on conventions where I know my friends are going to be at!
