In spaces (such as sapphic audio 🌽) that are less male dominated and less dominated in general by capitalism, you can find a large amount of both cis and trans women producing 🌽 as a hobby! And these hobbiests produce what they want to see and feel!

Of course, this often means that you end up producing a product that primarily men want, which further alienates potential woman viewers/clients…thus playing a small part in perpetuating the cycle.

Women’s limited consumption means that if you make 🌽 you ultimately learn/are taught to view your body through a patriarchical lens time & time again. Between the demands of the market & (often unwelcome) demands & messages of your fans, you learn exactly how men want to see you. And you produce it.
