We adopted one of the puppies, and named her Maya. (Here she's enjoying the sun with Kiwi). There will probably be a continuation of the sketch series as she grows up 🙌🏽

Earlier in the year my partner and I fostered Latte and her puppies, they are all in forever homes with lovely people now and i have a few sketches done during that time

The plan was to steadily draw them as they grow up but that idea crumbled due to the puppies waking up at 2:00 am every night and so I couldn't either sleep well for a while or be a moderately functioning human being during the day. Here's a recent one tho!

I think i may have fumbled a very cool art opportunity yesterday, so here's a sketch of a tree i liked to remind myself i DO know what i'm doing (kinda) and also that I need to get an scanner, since I left the one i had on my last move *sigh*

A little intaglio 🐦 And a piece of lore about me: I studied printmaking in college, dropped out twice, first time out of depression and financial struggles, then because of work, but finish this year, on the third attempt 🐢 mostly to get closure, but gotta say I do enjoy the slow pace of the craft
