Finished the Octopath Traveler 0 demo and Y'ALL ... I had so much fun with it!
I did not expect it to hook me so quickly, but I love the characters and the concept of restoring your hometown and forging your own path.

You can try and retry actions in the planning phase as much as you want.
Character movement and attacks use AP, which is limited in each turn. I experimented a lot to make the most efficient strategy and get the most use out of AP. In the action phase, you see it all play out!

I also want to shout out the NPC dialogue because as a Trails fan, I always appreciate when devs put thought into it.
I have taken the time to talk to every NPC when they have new dialogue. And it most definitely is worth it. See some examples below.

The party members that have joined Faye so far are pretty great too.
You have Namako, who's probably the most level headed of the bunch; Destin, the lovable idiot who loves to hit things, and Knute, a lost media aficionado and pacifist, who serves as the party's healer.

It took a bit for me to get invested, BUT THEN I COULDN'T STOP PLAYING.
I enjoyed the job system/combat, but as usual, I appreciated the story, cast more. What a ride!
And Ramza, Cid, Mustadio, and Agrias are all on my list of faves now!

It took a bit for me to get invested, BUT THEN I COULDN'T STOP PLAYING.
I enjoyed the job system/combat, but as usual, I appreciated the story, cast more. What a ride!
