Genuinely not sure whether Labour could be sure of defending anywhere in Bristol v the Greens atm. Maybe Hartcliffe & Withywood just because nobody even votes there. Could even see Hillfields, Filwood and Southmead in severe danger.

Not my yard but I was under the impression that he'd this far done alright in Trooper's Hill because it's a single councillor ward and he's presumably been fairly active round there. Would bet if it were a new candidate it would fall into line with the rest of the St George wards.

As a son of the north Bristol/Gloucestershire borderlands, I feel under no obligation to explain my disdain for the county to the south

That said, and it pains me to praise Somerset in any way at all, their coastline is somewhat better and defo improves once you hit Exmoor

Joking apart, the Severn Estuary is quite bleak and has loads of industrial stuff along it. The flatlands that stretch from north Bristol up into Gloucestershire are deeply uninteresting. Best bits are the twin bridges tbh
