Of all the MAGA billionaires who have moved to Austin in the last few years, this one is the worst.

You should see his weird new hairline. Masculine it is not.

Good episode. One thought related to technology is that kids today don’t really have a use for numeracy in their non-school time. Specifically, I’m thinking of the basic numeracy practice that comes w counting money, reading analog clocks, building things, etc... Maybe this is the new normal.

If you haven’t heard him play “The List”, I recommend it.

None of this is surprising. Kevin Roberts is former CEO of the Texas Public Policy Foundation, which is funded by Tim Dunn. Dunn and his now-cancelled PAC Defend Texas Liberty have a history of anti-semitism.

Oh wow. He’s a regular on Mark Halperin’s show.
October 28, 2025 at 7:49 PM
I’m sure Halperin called Peggy Noonan this morning to mock her for caring about “construction”.

Those are banned here in Texas.

Their MAGA Brain Rot is officially out of control.
October 19, 2025 at 1:57 PM
Is he still 6’4” and 225?
October 11, 2025 at 1:24 AM
He’s been gushing about her for 24 hours. Maybe he’s looking for a job at CBS.

Taking a second to let you know that while I listened to this episode I said a little “thank you” prayer for you and the couple of others who have not stopped talking about Uvalde. I will never complain about too much Uvalde coverage.

It needed to be said

OMG! I’m overwhelmed.

I’m sorry for Tech, but I’m thrilled that he’ll be off the Education Committee and out of my childrens’ classrooms. He’s done enough damage.

Craig Garnett has been hammering at the truth since the beginning. Piggybacking on your post to plug his book, “Uvalde’s Darkest Hour”.

Are you cracking up every time they say “Nobel Peace Prize”?
August 28, 2025 at 12:57 AM
It was hard to listen to the press conference, but I think it was worse to watch all of the Texas GOP women standing behind him with huge smiles and nodding their heads, “mmhmmm”-ing after each outrageously stupid thing that he said.

When it comes to the Texas Legislature, there is often a Uvalde-shaped elephant in the room.
