Just beat Donkey Kong Bananza, super fun game and oh my god that finale sequence might just be one of the most hype moments in any video game I ever played, so glad I bought a Switch 2 for this

Something I love about the dynamic between Luigi and Waluigi is that Luigi is like the most jumpy person ever, just a flick of the wrist is enough to get him crying for help, and yet Waluigi's over there actively trying to threaten him and Luigi is so unfazed by it he forgets the guy even exists

I wonder if maybe it's because they did both games and thus took on more than they could handle, kinda wish they just remastered Klonoa 2 and maybe emulated the original Klonoa 1 if that's the case

Don't get me wrong tho, this game has a lot of questionable design decisions, like the weird focus on the intermissions, the inconsistency on the number of costumes everyone gets and the way you unlock characters

But from a mechanical standpoint, I really like how this game plays

Imma be honest, I am pleasantly surprised with how much I'm enjoying Mario Kart World, like I was really worried about the game based on what everyone else was saying, but me? I'm liking it a lot, and that's coming from someone who didn't like MK8D

I'd say the closest thing to a self insert I've made in an RPG (at least, among the ones I've actually stuck with over the years) is Andrea, the character in my pfp who I made for PSO2 New Genesis, but even then she has enough differences for me to not consider her entirely a self insert

Tbh I wouldn't consider either Chotan or S'towali self inserts, they definitely have aspects based on myself but they're very much original characters otherwise
