What are you reading this weekend?

I'm halfway through this historical(?) fiction. The main character is based on a real 1700s midwife who left a rather detailed journal of births/deaths/community events.

The writing is engaging although I've realized not much has happened yet.

Short-term or ice maker-only shutdown To turn off the entire refrigerator: Press and hold the power button on the control panel until you hear a beep, indicating it's off. To turn off the ice maker: Locate the ice maker's on/off switch, which is often a rocker switch on the left side of the ice maker assembly. Press the right side of the switch to turn it off. Long-term shutdown Turn the temperature control to the "Off" setting. Turn off the ice maker using the on/off switch or arm. Turn off the water supply to the refrigerator. Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet or switch off the circuit breaker for the appliance.

I'm pretty sure the Constitution is clear.

Recent-ish cool rock finds, pretty sure each in different places. Picked the smaller ones from a pile I have so I could get in more. I tried to get some natural light on them, but I'm not sure the shine is appreciable on the quartz and whatever the blue-green one is. ❤️

Yes. Someone a couple of blocks from my house which I pass regularly went from a creepy, lit, white-dress witch/ghoul thing hanging in their tree to big lit Christmas ornaments and lights strings.

Rebelling, for the first time ever in my life, I got Thanksgiving-themed inflatable decorations.
Colorful brown turkey with red, orange, yellow, and light yellow tail feathers with giant eyes. And no stupid Pilgrim hat. Horn of plenty with a pumpkin, an apple, and a corn cob. The vegetables/fruits have giant eyes and smiling happy faces.
