I did enjoy this when I first opened it, but time has not been good. Personally I think the 12 is better:
Value, Flavour and accessibility.
But it is still a decent dram. It’s just too far north of my spend limit.

I missed the chance of this local offer, apparently the queues to grab them were as expected.
But what this shows once again is that the markup (if it isn’t loss making) is part of the reason the industry is in downturn.
Would love to try a whisky advent calendar, they are just too expensive.

Two amazing Irish whiskeys recently finished.
The #PowersJohnsLane is definitely going to be a repeat purchase.
The #DingleIrishWhiskey should be a core bottle. Amazing stuff. @whiskygraham.bsky.social did a fantastic job with that one.

Doing my bit so that you don’t need to experience the horror of it
In short it’s like an over malted Horlick’s on the nose & Horlicks made with baileys instead of milk (or water if you are criminally insane) on the palate
£3.49 in Aldi was about £3 too much the 49p is because it is still alcohol
