A slap in the face it was ever 18+ to begin with. At the very least, props to PEGI to hearing and listening to the appeal.
After an appeal from my publisher, Balatro has been reclassified by PEGI from 18+ to 12+

This is a good step from PEGI - bringing nuance to their ratings criteria that used to be 18+ or nothing. I hope this change will allow developers to create without being unfairly punished

After seeing today's #doom the Dark Ages developer direct, I'm incredibly afraid I'm going to end up with Hugo Martin's face tattooed on my body. This game looks like an absolute STUD of a game.

And that FLAIL! Never have I ever thought I'd swoon over a spike ball on a chain until I became a dev.

I bought this originally on the Switch on a whim at an airport. I loved everything about it. The retro anime box-art, the challenging platforming, the charming music. Also, a badass female lead in the vein of Metroid? Let's go. I could gush for a while.
