Indeed. Here in DC, we’re a model for national brokenness. Trump’s mental illness walks our streets here with combat boots and weapons of war: citizens clad in cammo gear to come and play soldier on our streets. For a madman. While suck-ups applaud. But one day, the Hearings will make history.

So now Trump orders that the unnecessary and provocative presence of the National Guard, which set up this shooting in the first place, be expanded and lengthened, making things even more dangerous here in DC. It’s what we’ve come to expect from this malevolent lunatic.

Here’s certifiably brainless Pete Hegseth trying to look intense.

Here was Border Patrol yesterday in Washington, DC. Shameful, contrived, and evil. Possible new Border Patrol slogan: “MAKE WHITE AMERICANS GULLIBLE AGAIN.”

Trump taught the American rich that all they need to do is give non-rich people somebody else to hate.

Come on, people. It does not bode well when asking a dictator to pause torture raids for Halloween is what passes for dissent.

It is hard to believe. And in 2017, mental health experts tried to start that conversation.

Thank you. Your letter made me cry. My father (left) was a Tuskegee Airman in Italy in World War 2. Not all he did in his life was honorable. But I honor this. I’ll do what I have to to keep it from having been a waste.

Trump is betting that he can overwhelm us into paralysis with attacks from all directions at once: a daily barrage of the unthinkable.

Indeed. And today at a demonstration at the US Capitol, Rev. William Barber absolutely tore into Trump and Musk’s agenda.

Anyone seen results of the Feb 28 boycott? Wikipedia summarizes the impact as insignificant. I’d think even that would be worth coverage.

Boycott 2/28. And show big money you’re not buying it.

“DO NOT OBEY IN ADVANCE. …In times like these, individuals think ahead about what a more repressive government will want, and then offer themselves without being asked. A citizen who adapts in this way is teaching power what it can do.” -Timothy Snyder, On Tyranny

This morning driving in DC I saw a banner calling for Netanyahu’s arrest hanging from a walkway at Kennedy Center on the Rock Creek Parkway. I didn’t have time to take a photo, but it resembled this one. He’s visiting Trump. Go home, Bibi. One criminal head of state is enough for this town.
