We'll never get proper bike/ped infrastructure at grade at that location. Between ambulance routes and the M-14 on/off-ramp, that intersection will never be safe (I lived right on that corner for years, and it's only gotten worse since).

I am fully down with the cause and purpose of today, but is the art direction of our propaganda actually delivering? Is the cutesy ‘shop local’ craft fair vibe matching the moment? Or maybe it’s the kind of bubble gum subversion that is actually needed to be effective these days?

If nothing else, I'm more in to Bluesky because of the malleability and additional experiences that can be created for it. Just like in the early days of Twitter, the most innovative and useful stuff came from the superusers, not the company.
