Hi. I currently work for CBC Radio in Vancouver. I was born in the Blandlands. Re-posts are not endorsements. It means I think it's noteworthy. Or newsy.

Bills, Canucks, Lions, Blue Jays, Caps.
And Enbridge learned consultation will not cut it.

It's not about overriding. It's about social contract. And I wonder about the security of such a project. I think a lot of people don't get the consistent and strident opposition to this project on the North Coast. Really. I think they maybe think it's something that can be overcome w/ consultation.

Yeah I know. My point was an aside.

"As part of the agreement, Ottawa will suspend the proposed federal oil and gas emissions cap and remove Alberta's requirements under the Clean Electricity Regulations — both of which were introduced while Guilbeault was environment minister."

This is a good point.

Another good point is RFK Jr., an obvious paragon of healthy living, is preparing to shove two sizeable McDonalds burgers and an extra large fries into his mouth. How many calories? How much trans fat? Seems rather inconsistent with his supposed ideals.

There is no magical port that exists for the project. So a pipeline could happen if all things come together. If that makes Alberta happy, B.C. should be fine with that.

Meanwhile, when is Alberta going to open up their liquor stores to BC product.

They can't get it built without North Coast BC support. It doesn't matter what they say about federal supremacy, Alberta's needs and national unity. If they can't get the people of Haida Gwaii, Prince Rupert, Kitimat, Terrace on board -- where are they going to build?

Also, there are a mass of deer in Prince Rupert. They crawl all over the city. People think of it as a nuisance because they eat gardens. And also bring wolves from behind. But ya know, they do give the town a little Northern Exposure vibe.

And we will never forget Hammy.
A deer with a hammock on his head is Prince Rupert's newest celebrity | CBC News
Forget humpback whales and grizzly bears. The hottest ticket in Prince Rupert wildlife viewing is "Hammy," a deer with a hammock on his head.

Prince Rupert gets a lot of rain. But that comes with brilliant moments of sunshine. And when that happens, after a period of heavy rain, rainbows appear consistently over Prince Rupert harbour. And when that happens, there will be smiles.
