New York Hill Restaurant in Thurber, TX. An earlier post described our visit to the Smokestack Restaurant on the way from Dallas to Abilene, TX. We are on our way back to Dallas, thus our stop at NYHill, which is directly across I-20 from Sstack. Lovely visit w my sister and family for Thxgiving

My meatloaf special came w mashed potatoes, green beans, a dinner roll, and a slice of chocolate sheet cake. Halfway between Dallas and our Thanksgiving weekend destination, Abilene, TX.

Andy Summers Robert Fripp. Bewitched. 1984. I have three or four of Andy Summers solo lp’s from that same 80’s period. I saw him play a solo performance here in Dallas around that time. Someone from the audience yelled, “where’s Robert Fripp?!”. He laughed. Summer’s will be 83 in December.

Last evening at The Undermain Theater to witness Action by Sam Shepard. Wasn’t sure how I felt about it. In retrospect, it is quite a powerful play, powerfully performed by the four cast members.
