I am a retired RN, on bed with my best friend Mija, 4.8 lbs of the happiest little Chihuahua you could ever see. Broke my back a year after I retired, which totally changed my planned trajectory. All I can say is it’s a good thing I love books

You absolutely SHOULD give her a treat! My 4.8 lb Chihuahua also protects me from those dangerous houseflies…it’s so funny to watch her. She really DOES have a little hunter’s heart as she goes after the fly!

Mija the Chihuahua

My Chihuahua Mija.
Used to have a Labrador. Then a Llewelyn Setter. Then a whole gaggle of weenie dogs. Then Mitzie the Chorkie…lived to be 18…
The older I’ve gotten the smaller the dog. Buck the Lab was ~120 lbs…Mija is ~4.8 lbs
but still all dog!!! It’s amazing!!!

Mija the Chiwawa. My wonderful little rescue girl. She’s like a crow…likes to collect shiny objects & take them to her bed for safe-keeping. Things like MY nail file, MY nail clipper, MY tweezer, the top of John’s pen, & my glasses I keep in the living room to watch tv. Found ‘em snug in her bed…lol

I speak fluent dawg…however, with each dog comes a totally different dialect.
I’m now almost 77 & I’m learning to understand my newest furry baby.
She’s a 5.2 lb Chiwawa named Mija. She’s so tiny & lives w me everywhere…bed etc…her BODY language is as important (or more!) as her vocalizations!

This is my new sweetheart Mija, a rescue Chiwawa (how do you like that phonetic spelling…‼️)
She has been with us about 10 days & already rules the house, all 4.8 lbs of her. She is sweet & affectionate & loves to cuddle at nap time, especially if it’s also movie time! ♥️
