They're not set up to be local police, they never should have been deployed.

Remember, solar and wind only work when the sun is shining and the wind is blowing but gas works around the clock unless of course your utilities are cut off because you have to choose between heat or food.
US natural gas (methane) price are up 50% in the past month or so as new export facilities start exporting more LNG (methane). Often these US export facilities are owned by foreign entities (Japan, Qatar, etc).Japan is also buying up gas production assets in TX to supply the gas for export. (1/2)

There is a reason people were afraid that the Supreme Court would take up case. The reason is the Supreme Court itself. Here's why I'm taking this whole experience seriously.

But wait, I thought Joe Manchin was the great climate hero?
Note how all the fossil fuel requirements in Inflation Reduction Act were written into statute, like it literally says six lease sales in the Cook Inlet over 10 years.. and most of the renewable energy and climate implementation in the IRA relied on rule-making and agency discretion.
These lease sales are required under the Big Beautiful Bill. The last Cook Inlet sale in 2022 was mandated by the Inflation Reduction Act; that one was overturned under the national environmental policy act. Now we’ll see what happens with a weaker NEPA. www.marinelog.com/offshore/boe...

It’s important to remember that community care doesn’t have to come in the form of $100s in donations or dropping off pallets of food.

Sometimes it’s picking up an extra rotisserie chicken for a neighbor, or doing a grocery pick up for an elder, or helping someone with laundry or childcare.
