Have bought my pointless Palace, football and general sports ramblings over here whilst the other place dies a slow death..
Marco Silva taking defeat well as usual, the bitter bastard.

He's putting in these unreal performances, has clearly massively worked on his weakness which was attacking, and Tuchel still hasn't deemed him worthy of a call up despite locking up every winger he comes up against. Beyond baffling at this stage.
It’s bonkers that Mitchell isn’t Englands first choice left back. Surely the Palace lads + Eze have to let Tuchel and his staff know how good he’s become.

Huge and very impressive result. Decision making needs work, but thought Uche put himself about well, especially after another uninspiring performance from a knackered JP. Decent goal for Nketiah. Wharton back to his best. Pino becoming more & more accustomed to the league.

The injury or illness I think most of have have feared happening the most appears to have happened 😳 I fear it could make a huge difference in how we play today, having no Munoz. Such a shame both Cardines & Kporha are injured too, I'd have both of them ahead of Nat considering it's nearly 2026!

Mo Salah kicking off, as if he should be excused being absolutely dogshit this season based on previous achievements 🤡
All of this because the refused to spend a little more money to bring in Guehi in the summer btw. YLTSI.
December 6, 2025 at 9:20 PM
Put the Liverpool game on just as Carragher is once again calling out their CB's for having another poor game, just minutes after Guehi has helped us keep another clean sheet. Going for Isak and not Marc makes less and less sense for them with every passing week.

This isn’t going to be sustainable in next 6-8 weeks. Our second half drop offs are becoming alarming & worryingly consistent. Got absolutely nothing going forward after 60 minutes. Win is a win but we don’t hold on that lead against majority of sides in PL.

The very definition of digging in and grinding out a victory. A superb defensive effort.

In a season where we're playing in Europe, the reserve front 3 most trusted by Glasner is Devenny, Kamada and Nketiah. That right there is exactly why he's publicly calling out the board.
December 3, 2025 at 9:14 PM
Decent 1st half, followed by awful and tired 2nd half. Can't see how this changes in December given our schedule and the fact Glasner, despite wanting a small squad, only really trusts 14/15 players at most. Could be a long month, especially once Sarr departs for AFCON.

Never a handball for their winning goal for me, but should also never be missing two open goals and other half decent chances and expect to get a result. Who'd have thought that Ty would be the standard bearer in finishing.

Had booked today and tomorrow off to go to Strasbourg. When it sold out I decided it was a long way to go without a match ticket, so didn't bother. Seeing posts galore from everyone out there definitely isn't making me regret my decision 🙃

Delighted for Ebs, but wish it was for a fanbase that deserves him. That said, some of our fanbase are the same with Pino. Modern day fandom in a nutshell.
November 23, 2025 at 6:17 PM
Glad I'm not the only one thinking this. If I've not seen the goal for myself I'm believing he's left Ebs with a tap in on the line. Granted the assist has allowed him to hit it first time, but there's still a hell of a lot that could go wrong that Ebs executed perfectly.
Eze’s finish was technically sublime last night. Hitting a moving ball, 1st time, at an angle, 18 yards out…yet the England twitter accounted tweeted Foden put it on a plate. The ITV comms team were all about Foden. Gabriel Clarke actually asked Eze if it was all about the assist. Wtf am I missing?!

A number of days late to the party, but finally caught up with the ending of Traitors. And given the whole country must know the ending by now, I have no shame in declaring my hatred for Nate the Great is fully back. Even reminding myself that Joe Marler is Brighton isn't helping 🤣

Lots of tired legs after Thursday night, with our captain missing through injury, and that mob still couldn't beat us. Maybe if they tried moving the ball forward rather than building possession stats by keeping the ball with their CB's they might have troubled us 🤷‍♂️

My MoM by a country mile
Tyrick Mitchell is the first player to win possession 12+ times and win 12+ duels in a Premier League match this season - despite playing on one leg for the majority of the second half. 😅

An unbelievable effort from our No.3. 💪

Strasbourg sold out in 10 minutes in phase 1. How on earth did 700 tickets go before it went to phase 1?? Something isn’t right there.

Only 900 fans have more than 11000 by all accounts, so how this hasn't gone to phase 2 is absolutely criminal

A superb, solid win for the boys in red and blue today. Is there a correlation between Jordan Henderson arriving in West London and Brentford turning in to absolute wet wipes protesting any and every decision that went against them? So glad we've come away with the three points!

I’ve held the belief that Jordan Gobshite Henderson is the biggest cunt in football for a very long time & today I feel completely vindicated.

Oh man 😞
Jean-Philippe Mateta, who had already scored a hat-trick in the game against Bournemouth, was presented with a chance to win the game for Crystal Palace in the last moments of added time.

But the Frenchman ballooned his shot over the bar.
October 18, 2025 at 5:00 PM
Mateta is such a one off- how's a guy getting a hat-trick and still costing us victory 🤣
Bournemouth first half were sensational, thoroughly deserving of their lead. But the character we then showed, to firstly get back to 2-2 and then 3-3, is something that is a delight to see.
October 18, 2025 at 4:47 PM
Didn't think Mateta would get many minutes, so was overjoyed to see him start. And now he's bagged. Unreal moment for him 👏👏👏

Sitting just around the corner from Sloane Square, and just witnessed a well dressed lady sneeze in to her hands and then lick it. Money doesn't always buy class, does it?
