The stories of the Rays' resilience and temporary relocation are told in Cooperstown, where a piece of the Tropicana Field roof is now preserved.

The style of play has changed drastically since Joe Sewell’s day, but his strikeout statistics remain remarkable.

The Hall of Famer, born #OTD in 1898, whiffed just 114 times over 7,132 career at-bats, while 104 batters struck out more than that in 2025 alone.

Before Brock Holt hit for the first cycle in postseason history on Oct. 8, 2018, he wrote NIXON on one of his batting gloves in support of a child battling leukemia.

Nixon, now 13 years old, recently made a trip to Cooperstown to see this piece of history in person.
