I feel skelly archers were a trope before the advent of Minecraft, but I can’t recall any specific instances (aside from Diablo). I suspect the most “logical” reason for the undead archer-type is simply they have the dexterity/cunning for archery that their zombie brethren tend to lack.

Perhaps someday I’ll develop all these inspirations into a cohesive whole, but until then they were a fun practice on taking inspiration from my surroundings. If anything they may provide sparks for other projects.

Beehive Burners were used in logging yards and sawmills back in the day for disposing of waste wood via incineration before recycling methods were developed.
