Also, when my childhood cat Groucho was dying, I laid on the floor comforting him as he passed. I have two 14 y/o cats and think abt existential things a lot...I hope they live to 20 bc Im so incredibly close to them. They both have been there for me every time I was sad since I was like 12 yrs old.

A few yrs ago I rescued a kitten who had some congenital issues-took him to an emergency clinic& they told me he had to be put to sleep. I held off on that decision as long as possible bc it was the same to me as putting a sick human baby to sleep. He ended up passing minutes later in the clinic.

im also like, VERY much aware that at 26-27 im starting to age, which is *why* it feels nice that ppl still see the youthfulness in me and eases the existential dread a bit
