Aroma has light caramelism and some distant candied fruits. Taste has a mild nutty roastiness, some black tea, and a hint of treacle toffee. Probably the least exciting of St Bernie’s excellent output, but this is decent Dubbelism nonetheless.

Fruitaceous airiness on the nose. Taste has lots of berryism, with a gentle tartistic overwash. Finishes with a herbolic dryness. Lots of character on display for a modest 3.5% ABV. Quality petiteness from @burningskybeer.bsky.social.

Not too much on the nose, maybe some distant haybales. Not a great deal in the taste either. Very light, almost watery. It’s easy-drinking (I glugged it down in no time), but I’d prefer a bit more character.

Caramelised doughballs on the nose. Light body. Taste has toffee maltism but any excessive sweetness is headed off by a balancing lemony bitterness and a dry, mildly herbaceous, finish. Drinkability + character = a quality festbier!

Meadowistic aroma. Taste is crisp and clean, with some light biscuity maltage, unobtrusive hoppism, and a dry finish. Not really a lot going on here, but it’s a decent, well made, lagery refresher.

And finishing off with this delicious @allagashbrewing.bsky.social Curieux, a Bourbon BA version of their Tripel. Creamy vanilla woodiness. Yum!

Sticking with the guest board, and going back to the @allagashbrewing.bsky.social selection with their Tripel. The required 'musty crypt' aroma is absent but the slick mouthfeel and the gently-spiced peachy orangeness is all present and correct. And it's outrageously drinkable.

After successfully resisting the fridge, back to the guesties, and this Juiceship from #JesterKing. The added orangey pineapple fruitage is subtle, and complements the hopped-up funkism of the base beer. Good stuff!

Aroma has breadcrusty toastiness plus a citric undertow. Taste has some fresh juicy lemony orange hoppage up front, with a light caramelism in the background, and a dry finish. Very refreshing, very moreish, very decent.

White bread on the nose. Taste starts – and continues - with an almost vanilla-like sweetness. I waited for some (any) hop bitterness to arrive. I waited in vain. Too sweet, lacks balance.
