The rock band Dropkick Murphys headlined the rally—marking the third consecutive day of major protests against the regime in our nation’s capital. At the event, Dem Rep. Al Green stated: “I must vote to impeach a president who would put the lives of members of Congress at risk … who doesn’t respect the Constitution … who is devolving our democracy into a dictatorship. He must be impeached. He must be convicted. He must be removed.”

The sums spent on green initiatives look like a drop in the ocean of AI spending. Amazon, for example, expects its total capital expenditure to hit $125 billion this year. Even a sliver makes a difference to a company like Arable, whose sensors cost roughly $1,500 a year each. The AI buildout is helping push up U.S. fossil-fuel use. Besides energy and water, data centers are stoking demand for copper and other commodities underpinning the energy transition. How that will affect markets is “not yet well understood,” the International Energy Agency said last week.

On the night of November 18th, Ukraine suffered some of the worst attacks of the ongoing crisis. At least 25 people were killed, including three children, in a drone and missile attack on a residential neighborhood in the western City of Ternopil. The strikes left another 73 people wounded, 15 of whom were children. Two other western regions of the country were hit, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk, and a drone attack targeted three districts in Kharkiv, wounding more than 30 people. Buildings and cars were set on fire as a result of the strikes.

For months I have warned you: Project 2025 is a blueprint for an authoritarian takeover of every institution that protects your vote. They are federalizing elections under the guise of “security.” They are weaponizing immigration enforcement at polling sites. They are sending a message to Latino voters: “If you show up, you’ll be watched.” They are laying the groundwork to challenge or discard votes in entire counties if turnout doesn’t favor Trump. These are the exact same tactics used by authoritarian regimes across the world. I saw these conversations happening in private when I was still on the inside. And now, they’re carrying them out in the open—because they think no one will stop them.
