I wrote a single paragraph noting some (not every one) of the ways that Trump is getting weaker. It's a long paragraph. That makes applying pressure in opposition that much more important. www.americaamerica.news/p/trump-is-g...

The idea of Jared Kushner -- and by proxy Donald Trump -- taking over more media is terrifying. There will become a time when the press is unable, or unwilling, to push back on Trump's lies and will just spit out his fake talking points.

Trump hates Europe’s democracies because they have universal health care, a strong social welfare system and heavy unionization.

He prefers MBS’s Saudi Arabia, where one trillionaire family runs a brutal dictatorship.

What a betrayal of American values!

Heartbreaking. The University of Nebraska will terminate its entire Earth science department.

One of the country's most successful and respected geology & climate programs: gone.

When ideologues & politicians are threatened by the very act of studying climate change, I wonder: who of us is next?
It's over.

Despite the fact that the academic council recommended against it, despite the fact that the program brought in more tuition than it cost, and despite the fact that Nebraskans need & deserve this expertise, Earth & Atmospheric Sciences will be cut.

BREAKING: ‘This hurts’: UNL eliminates 4 programs despite faculty, student pleas
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln eliminates the Earth and atmospheric sciences 8-0, educational administration 7-1, statistics 7-1, textiles, merchandising and fashion design 7-1 programs.

Corporate Dem Rep Henry Cuellar & his wife were indicted in March 2024 for accepting hundreds of thousands in foreign bribes.

Trump just pardoned them.

Hakeem Jeffries is praising Trump’s decision as “exactly the right outcome” & praising Cuellar as “a beloved member of the House.”

Ridiculous.😐

According to the US Coast Guard, the year prior to Trump changing our policy to summary execution, only 21% of the vessels interdicted by them off the coast of Venezuela suspected of trafficking drugs had drugs on board. The other 79% had nothing. But now we just kill them all.
