Flip side to that last post: the counter folks at Porter airlines were hella lovely. I'm thankful for them and their kindness.

Haven't taken a taxi in a very long time. This morning's driver just reminded me why I don't.

Mainly because I need it for proposals...Anyone good at resume writing? I pulled mine up and it's a hot mess.

Alt: a dumpster is on fire and smoke is coming out of it. It reminds Ren of her resume.

I've started planning for 2026 (yes, it's late in the year, but this is how I've done it for years), and I'm rethinking a lot of things and I'm really nervous, but really excited for the next 15+ months.

I'm gonna try and shake up my life. Again.

The older I get, the more I hate courses that include group projects. Adults don't have time, nor will we make the time.

I'm currently in a group project, and we've burned 3 weeks just trying to figure out who's working on what. We've got 3 weeks left to write the damn paper.

That moment where you feel good about your exam and then that final mark ain't as high as you were expecting it to be.

Nothing better than a days long headache and the need to focus and write a massive class paper on union negotiations.
Unnnghhhhhhh.

"my question is fiscal" 🔥
She’s an icon, she’s a legend and she is the moment. Now come on now.
Question for Mike Flood: With $450 million being allocated to Alligator Alcatraz, and ICE burning through $8.4 million a day to illegally detain people—How much does it cost for fascism? How much do the tax payers have to pay for a fascist country?

Ontario friends! A pal just sent me a job posting for a DEI role at a university. The pay range is $77k to 86k. Does anyone know if that's the current going pay rate? I'm a feral freelancer, so I have no idea, but I'm vaguely curious.

ALWAYS.

And? Then they fully monetise what they've learned without giving back to the culture who took the time to educate them about the ingredient and/or beverage.

The last little while I've been seeing Cdn white-owned breweries using "non-traditional" ingredients from foreign countries & then declaring themselves "the first" to make it outside of the country of Origin.

Calm down, Christopher Columbus. Google usually says you're definitely not the first.

I need to work on some new shirts to sell at an event. I'm drawing a blank on fun one-liners that I could have on a branded B Diversity Group t-shirt.
Anyone got anything? I'll send you stickers, pins and patches if I use your idea.

Just found out that I dropped a class ONE DAY too late to get refunded.
Best part is that I'm planning on taking the course later in the year. Just needed breathing room in order to focus on the course.

Do we think they'll take pity upon me, or am I gonna pay double?

Whenever on a road trip, I always make the massive mistake of going to a Tim Hortons.

It's like the rhythm of the road makes me forget how much I hate everything about Timmy's.

Been a weekend of going to award winning breweries' restaurants and learning that the staff just aren't trained to talk about said award winning beer...
