Anything over/under moves the starting FP at a rate of 2 FG yards = 1 yard

Miss a 30-yarder? Now the ball is at their 30 instead of the 20. Miss a 70-yarder? At their 10.

Seems like the bye is a significant disadvantage when everyone has lots of time off between games anyway.

CFP really needs to eliminate the byes - teams that haven’t played in a month are coming out WAY slow against teams that are still plenty fresh but at least played a week or so ago.
