I Sexually Identify as an Attack Helicopter wasn't actually that intense. A lot of the "queer community" pilloried a trans woman and ran her out of society entirely and buried her literary future because they felt like it and they could taste blood in the water, and that's how all this works.

Deleted some of my earlier posts because while I still don’t think that Argentina has any more of a rightful claim to the Islands than British given their history in Patagonia are doing more reading and reflecting on it I do think it’s fair to call Falklanders settlers/colonizers.

I think the reason why the right wasn’t able to make the anti-trans narrative of Charlie Kirk’s death stick is because the final narrative would have done more to legitimize the killing of Kirk and humanize trans people than it would to stigmatize them.

I finally finished it: and you know what I’m never going to stop being mad about what was done to Isabel and I will never forgiven any of the people who did it to her.
I’ve never read Helicopter Story all the way through. I’ve started it about a dozen times, and each time I do I get a little farther. And each time I do I get just a little more angry, bitter, and sad for all that was done to Isabel Fall.

More movies and shows should problematize the fact that robots are slaves both in that the fantasy to own a robot is the fantasy to own something that is like a person but is not a person so it’s okay to own that and in the sense that Robot literally means slave.

I’ve always kind of hated the rhetoric of “born this way” as a rallying cry of queer liberation. It frames the persecution of queer people as wrong because our queerness was inflicted upon us at birth and our identities and the understanding there of as rigid and inflexible.
