I’ve been taking shelter dogs on field trips. The ASCMV here has 20-40 dogs arriving per day. I would love for these three to find a home (Coral-older smart mama, highly attentive; Boxer-cheery guy who will chill at the brewery with you and Hulu-sweet and gentle girl who just wants to be near.)

Delighted to attend the ribbon cutting for Three Sisters Apartments in Las Cruces, a public-private collab to put 70 affordable units of 1,2 and 3 bedrooms in a walkable neighborhood, near stores, transit and parks. Plus an amazing mural!

The world is melting and so many things feel beyond any one person’s reach. What isn’t? The gift that comes with adopting a shelter pet. Here are my two…why not celebrate National Adopt a Shelter Pet by just doing that? In many places (including Las Cruces) adoption fees are discounted or free!

Proud of Las Cruces to leading the way in addressing housing with Amador Crossing, 50 units of supportive housing at the Community of Hope. Grateful for state and local legislators for funding, visionaries like Camp Hope’s director and MPT @johana-b.bsky.social Next up in February: zoning reform!
