PEOPLE CANNOT AFFORD RENT. Half of renters are paying over 30% of their income on rent, another quarter are paying over 50%!!!
People need homes they can afford!

I want everyone to flip out over this proposal to give the mayor a $46,000 raise. I completely agree that our elected officials should be well paid. But people tear their hair out over council pay, so we need to bring that same energy to this one.

I was happy to see a Bobcat clearing the corners where the plows had left huge piles. But then I saw the Bobcat clearing the sides of the street and blowing the snow onto the sidewalk. Our school Engineer is already overworked and now he has to shovel the whole block again, or leave it covered.

Someone in my FB Buy Nothing group asked for a DVD player bc they don't wanna support Netflix. Another neighbor commented that the show she wants to watch is on Amazon Prime & OP was like, "thanks, that works!" Lol, wut. I assumed she didn't like rich assholes, but apparently that wasn't the issue 🙃
