Long story short and a word of advice since I had to hit my head a few times to understand; Be wise where you pay and how much you pay people, knowing you can't get your money back.

I'll only use Bsty or Hplnk if it's for ready-made designs from now on. At least I get what I see then.

I also got taken for a ride by @blushyp.bsky.social What’s weird af is that they got even further along in the process before they dropped off the face of the earth. I never got the model files I paid for. Very expensive lesson. I will not be using Boosty or any other alternatives going forward.

Buyer's beware for @chubbybelly.bsky.social (account now deleted) AKA @Softbellyy on Twitter (also deleted). Paid them $45 for a commission back in March 2024 and asked for a refund in July after no progress was made. Was promised the refund but never given it.

I had to see a psychiatrist because I was undergoing psychiatric treatment for the weeks that I should have done some commissions, and now I'm getting back to drawing. I'm taking medication too because the psychiatrist said it would help me stop changing my mood and thinking about things like death

Me: Oh goodness that's quite a lot, I'm so sorry! No you are perfectly within your rights to not have told me, that sounds very personal and very serious. Take as long as you need and I'm sorry for having been os pushy, I was afraid I was getting ghosted but you had a very good reason for not being able to get back to me.
