I used SolidWorks for my day job, but I recently bought a year of the cloud based, 'SolidWorks for Makers'. Its taking some getting used to...

I export dxf's and program my router in Vectric's V-Carve.

I export .gcode and run in Mach 3.

I haven't used it enough to give an honest review but here is a start:

It's solid. Easy to dial in, except tables are out of parallel by almost .005" over the 6" width

I'm very happy with the mobile base.

I wish the chute went out the far side, and perhaps a bigger lower pulley to up the RPM.

Most of the time in my shop is spent trying to make better use of the space in my shop 😅

Is that the 10" Deluxe version? That's what I have, and I've been very happy with it!

Sorry, that was an old picture 😅

Here is the latest revision. I added a little tab that slides over and locks the dowel in place.

Yeah, make sure spare parts are available! I had to replace a couple cracked castings, and I had to buy one of a similar make model - crossing my fingers they were compatible 😅

This is one of my favorite features in my shop: A paper roll holder, great for protecting the bench from glue and finishes, as well as wrapping products I ship out.

I'm active in my son's scout troop, and we go camping several times a year. Typically in West Michigan, but last year we did a bike/camping trip in the upper peninsula last year that was absolutely amazing.

I only have a name for a few, but I'll work on it! My sons came up with this one.
