Day 6: A drama you dropped in 2025. #EYDC2025 so yeah I don’t drop dramas once I start but I did start watching iron girls after Physical Asia. I did like it’s chill vibes but like a lot of Korean reality shows it’s just so long. Hopefully I’ll find time to get back to it but for now it’s a drop.

So I found this list of worst kdramas on Netflix by the Mary Sue and I really don’t get her opinion on tale of the nine tailed. Was there anyone who criticised TotNL for this? I saw people criticising it for being dull but not enough gumiho lore is a weird one to me.

Day 3 favourite actor Choo Young Woo. I feel like he’s the closest actor to having a Byeon Woo Seok arc this year. I really liked him. He was a great romantic lead in head over to heels and really funny in trauma code. Also Bong Su for ever.

Ok day 2 favourite actress discovered in 2025. I’m going to go for my resident playbook girls Shin Si Ah and Han Ye Ji. I just loved them. They were funny and messy but still fundamentally good. Hope they both do well in 2026 #EYDC2025

So who in Korea has had a good year. I’m going to make a case for Kim Min Ha. I was a little worried after Pachinko that she’d struggle to find large roles but she’s had two dramas as a female lead and is killing it. Love her and wish her all the best.

I’m going to go for fight for my way. I do like the friends to lovers main love story here and I kinda like it’s just a fairly normal childhood with no trauma bonding. They’re just friends as children and grow into something more as they grow up. It’s nice I like it. #kdramajoychallenge

So for coming of age. I’m going for weightlifting fairy Kim Bok Joo. I love this show and for me it captures the messiness of youth. Plus it’s really funny iconic and I love it. Swag!!!!

Day 5 cooking scene. I do have a soft spot for this cooking scene from healer where they’ve just gotten together and Ji Chang Wook acts like a cat the whole scene. Maybe it’s because I’m a cat lover but I love how not helpful he is.
