The trouble is that this is a brilliant example of why "objectivity" does not exist.

My expectation would be that the Department of Defense could, at least in theory, remove him, demote him, court martial him, imprison him, and give him a dishonorable discharge.

And I don't think there's any doubt that Pete Hegseth is bonkers enough to try.

The election isn't even until November 4. My faint recollection is that it takes a long time for California to count votes and I don't expect the margin to be wide--Gavin Newsom is, after all, asking people to vote *for* a gerrymander.
