Because I have fair white skin, spend a lot of time outdoors, and live in Australia, I have skin checks each year.

My clinic has an app where you can take a photo in between yearly checks to track things you’re worried about.

Would be great if home breast exams were just as easy & affordable

Most user sessions are a low number of pages and short duration. This is true of news, ecommerce and many others. So the “faster once booted up” argument doesn’t hold much water!

Less client side processing (let the browser do what it’s good at) is almost always lighter, faster and more efficient.

Personally I enjoy a life with less shit. materialism of plastic crap is something I’m not sure I’ll ever understand

To be clear I don’t actually discriminate when I deploy. It doesn’t matter when rollbacks are easy.

Then plain ol CSV probably works better!

If LLMs were actually good, it wouldn’t need to be spoon fed, and it wouldn’t require so much processing power.

Yeah, I actually have a project I’m noodling with at the moment

Congrats and good on ya! I’ve never been to FFConf, but I can tell by the way my feeds light up that you’ve created something special.

That’s the thing: a mild criticism of well documented, visible and studied negative impacts results in a tantrum.

These are just loud mouth, badly behaved children with over subscribed salaries. Intolerable, and no idea.

Exactly!! If the thing that’s gonna “solve cancer in 5 years” can’t read a markdown file without busywork from humans, what is the point? Boiling an ocean for that?

How dare you for clearly, calmly pointing out very obvious things to the little genius. The manosphere is not going to be pleased. 🤪
