End of research stay at the National Sun Yat-sen University. Taking home: 400+ full survey responses on #nonprofit #marketization & #performance, two new paper ideas, and some travel memories. Thanks Chin-Chang Tsai
for the hospitality, support and collaboration. Now, back to #UGent ✈️

🇦🇹 And ... 2025 has more to bring. I look forward to talk more about this cross-country project with Florentine Maier & Michael Meyer, and present the main findings at a seminar organized by the Department of Management at the WU Vienna in January 2025. 6/7

🇹🇼 We developed this survey in my FWO post-doc project, and administered it in 2022 in #Belgium (with Bram Verschuere), #Sweden (with Johan Hvenmark) and the #US (with ChiaKo Hung). I want to express my sincere gratitude to prof. Chin-Chang Tsai and Dean Jennifer Yeh for all their support. 5/7

🇹🇼 Last not least, I closed out the year with a research stay at the College of Management at the National Sun Yat-Sen University in Kaohsiung. In addition to guest lecturing, this allowed me to replicate my cross-country survey on #nonprofit #marketization, #performance and #context in #Taiwan. 4/7

🇬🇧 Later in October, I attended the inaugural visiting researcher’s meeting at the The Gradel Institute of Charity at the University of Oxford. It was great meeting all these scholars, and spend two days discussing state-of-the-art research. Thank you Peter Frumkin for making this happen! 3/7

🇫🇷 Affiliated as a Visiting Researcher since 2022, we finished ongoing papers while discussing new research directions. In addition, we enjoyed the world-renowned Fontainebleau forest during the weekends, and managed to get up on some nice boulder routes. 2/7
