This is the style. They have other colors. I love how easily they slip on.

I’ve read about this basis before, in reference to the tv show Elementary. Both House and Elementary are intelligent shows worth viewing.

This seems clearly to be a hole in the stucco of the house wall, not part of the foundation. The cement slab foundation is directly underneath.
It’s unclear to me how a professional management company thinks otherwise, but then we all know they are in love with their bureaucratic powers.

SNL with Glen Powell (11/15/25) was actually watchable. Funny. Enjoyable.

Coffee and books!

(On a related note, a grand book enjoyed at home with breakfast and, well, the pre-coffee cup of green tea.)

Ditto for Steed and Mrs Peel.
(The Avengers streams on Pluto, in case anyone is looking.)

While not related to illness, that perfect comic makes me think of this perfect comic.

@realsolitaire.bsky.social has the most sophisticated Halloween background for its solitaire. The artwork is brilliant and looks so much better seen on your own screen. Watch out for flying ghosts and bats! Is that a black cat in a window?

Who else is enjoying The Sommerdahl Murders? (Acorntv)
I hope there are more seasons but the recent finish to Season 6 (aka series 6) feels satisfying.
(I wonder if all his plaid shirts will reach the status of the Eva Myles raincoat in Keeping Faith?)

They’ve taken their cues from the Bremen Town musicians.

Here’s an oversimplification of this critical point:

Just discovered the tv show with the much-too-abbreviated name “Doc.” It’s much better than the title might have you think and is now on its second season.

I liked the premise, the characters, the setting, the unexpected events, all of it.
Ice Road: Vengeance, with Liam Neeson.

Heart rate variability.
One night sleeping with windows open led to significant increase in HRV. Anyone else ever had such a positive result?

🍀 I understand it’s all sorts of positive things having a lizard on your front doorstep. 🦎

Horrible ending!
They really missed a huge opportunity in developing human-Gorn relations.
Why couldn’t she have held her fire for just ONE moment?
If they could beam down so easily at that point, why not scan for Ortegas & beam her up, after which she would have asked the Gorn to be beamed up?

1990’s movie Mindwalk was eye-opening in that regard.

Kinship With All Life, J Allen Boone — well worth a read, or re-read. Lovely respect for the animal kingdom at its heart, with Strongheart and Freddy the Fly as its stars. 🐾 🪰
