i couldn't figure out how to shove this piece in the thread or if it even made sense since it started as contemplation on just How Bad shit could get in the FE6 postgame, so. idk. just take it

Most of those who live on the Sacae plains as nomads have little greed or lust for power. This is because they live moving from place to place across the vast plains, and cannot carry any unnecessary belongings with them, nor can they keep livestock or other indicators of wealth. And not only that, but they also looked down on those who possessed excess wealth. They did not even have a concept of inheritance. Despite their appearance, the plains had a harsh climate. In the winter, the temperature dropped so low that the cold was often considered some of the most extreme across Elibe, drastically reducing the amount of potential pasture for livestock. In the spring, the violent winds were so strong that both livestock and supplies could easily blow far away. To be able to survive such a cruel climate, everyone in each tribe unified like large families around their chief, and had to help one another out. And that lifestyle made even the chief live no differently from everyone else in the tribe. On the contrary, the chief was actually much busier than the rest of the tribe, as they had to pay close attention to be sure that everyone could stay safe. And above all, everything they were able to obtain on the plains was a blessing from Father Sky and Mother Earth. When they passed away, it meant that they were returning to the land of Father Sky and Mother Earth… For the people of Sacae, that shared way of thinking was their way of life. Those reasons were all why she had no need for excessive things like a noble title.
