I don't mind if it's like a mid-season "To be continued" like over holiday break, but I know there have been quite a few TV shows that tried to do "Let's leave things open, they have to renew us then!" at the end of a season, and they just don't come back and leave you hanging. That infuriates me.

I think part of that is they had a very different crew (like, production) working on DS9 and TNG had many people move to VOY (or work on the movies) afterwards.

But yeah, I've seen some anime but I guess not enough to identify the big tropes as much as some people.

If healthcare providers were savvy, they'd give out the new COVID vaccine to everyone that wanted it, whether insurance pays or not, whether the PATIENT pays or not, because it would reduce costs down the line and probably more than pay for itself in the long run.
